In the fifth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Texas Tech running back Deandre Washington was selected No. 143 overall by the Oakland Raiders.
Washington was the the second Red Raiders taken in this NFL Draft, following Le’Raven Clark who was selected No. 82 overall by the Indianapolis Colts.
Washington will join former Texas Tech wideout Michael Crabtree in the bay area.
