Senior forward Anthony Livingston would sink three crucial free throws to secure the victory in the final seconds of the game.
The Owls (6-2) had one last in-bound to try and take the lead, but the pass was broken up at mid-court and Marcus Evans’ desperation heave was no good, which sealed Texas Tech’s 85-84 win.
Texas Tech will face off against UT-San Antonio on Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the United Supermarkets Arena.
