Tuesday the Dallas Cowboys officially granted Tony Romo his release from the team he played for for fourteen years.  The now former signal caller wasted little time in announcing his next career…NFL Analyst for CBS Sports. Romo will take Phil Simms place on the number one team for the NFL broadcasts on CBS.  Romo has been injured for a good part of the past two seasons.  After his most recent injury in the preseason, he was replaced by rookie Dak Prescott who went on to capture the rookie of the year title and guide the Cowboys to an NFC East title and a 13-3 record.  Romo threw one regular season touchdown pass in 2016 in the final game of the year against Philadelphia.
