Two New Deal players will start their journey’s next year still participating in athletics.
Sebastian Hartless will go on to run track at Texas Tech. Hartless will start wit the 200 and then, maybe move to the 400. He said it was his dream to wear red and black and is excited to be close to home.
Marshall Rieken will play football and run track at McMurry. The senior said he loved the small town feel of McMurry and was excited to be in a environment where he will be given the best opportunities to succeed.
The players were surrounded by family and friends and participated in the New Deal tradition of shaking everyone’s hand after they signed their letters.
