Two Lubbock High doubles teams won regional finals matches on Tuesday at the Lubbock Country Club to advance to the state tournament.
Jonathan Welsh and Hannah Jackson defeated Grapevine High in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to advance in mixed doubles, while Peyton Trebisky and Cherokee Hernandez won in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 to advance in girls’ doubles.
The state tournament gets underway May 11th in College Station.
