Happy Monday everyone! After a stormy start and end to the Easter weekend, we got to see some relief today with just warm temperatures and sunshine in the forecast. There will be an isolated chance of storms forming this evening but otherwise we are expecting a partly cloudy night. Tomorrow temperatures will continue to climb, reaching into the mid-80’s Tuesday afternoon and the low 90’s by Wednesday. Then the next cold front will push into the viewing area Wednesday night into Thursday morning, bringing a chance for some much more seasonable temperatures and a chance for rain on Thursday night and into Friday. With a trough progged to push through the South Plains on Friday night into Saturday, we are expecting temperatures to drop way below average for the start of your weekend, but temperatures will rebound quickly and the sunshine will be abundant.
