Happy Wednesday everyone! We have had a much cooler day across the South Plains due to the low pressure system that tracked across the region yesterday. Today high pressure will take over and this will lead to dry and mild weather with abundant sunshine and a quick warming trend throughout the remainder of the work week and into the weekend. High temperatures will move back to around average on Thursday and then into the upper 80’s and low 90’s by Saturday. Make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated throughout the weekend! Then on Sunday we will watch for our next cold front to approach the region bringing a drop in temperatures to start out the work week. A second front will push in on Monday and this will bring our next chance for some precipitation.
