April 6th, 2017 Evening Weather

Happy Thursday everyone! With high pressure taking over the region, temperatures began their upward ascent this afternoon and the warming trend is expected to continue through Saturday. High temperatures will move back to the upper 70’s tomorrow and then into the upper 80’s and low 90’s by Saturday afternoon. Dry and mild weather with abundant sunshine is expected to be the norm for the next few days so make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated! The only weather concern for the weekend is that winds will pick up in speed so we will be at a higher risk for fire weather potential. Then on Sunday we will watch for our next cold front to approach the region bringing a drop in temperatures to start out the work week. A second front will push in on Tuesday and this will bring our next chance for some precipitation.
