Happy Saturday everyone! Today was a sunny and hot day across the South Plains! A cooling trend begins tomorrow but it will still be warm. Mostly sunny skies continue on your Sunday with a high near 86 and a low near 57. However, expect windy conditions winds will be out of the west between 15 and 20 mph. Monday holds slightly cooler temperatures in the forecast along with partly cloudy skies. The high will drop into the mid 70’s and the low into the 40’s. The windy weather will continue on Monday with winds out of the northeast between 10 and 25 mph. Tuesday the high dips near 71 degrees with a low near 44. Wednesday and Thursday mostly cloudy skies and a chance of storms move into the forecast. The high’s will remain in the 70’s with the low’s in the 50’s. Friday and Saturday a slight chance of storms stays in the forecast with partly cloudy skies. High’s will be near 80 and low’s in the 50’s.
