Happy Thursday everyone! The folks in the southeastern South Plains got to see some showers and thunderstorms today with more rain expected throughout the remainder of the work week and into the weekend! The rest of the storms for today and tomorrow will be very isolated but the cold front that is expected to move across the region will push in late Friday night into Saturday morning bringing some slightly better rain potential and a very big cool down. Just like today, expect temperatures in the upper 80’s and low 90’s for your Friday but Saturday high will drop into the upper 70’s and low 80’s and remain in that range for Sunday as well. Then as we move into next week, the rain will slowly diminish and temperatures will push back into the upper 80’s again.
