Good evening everyone! Just like yesterday we have a few isolated thunderstorms popping up in the Western portions of the South Plains. However, with high pressure residing over Texas, most folks will continue to see hot, sunny, and beautiful conditions! The good news is that we will continue to see these afternoon storms for a small portion of the viewing area through Friday, but after that the high pressure system moves further West, cutting off our supply of moisture. Expect high temperatures to stay in the upper 90’s and triple digits throughout the remainder of the work week with a small cool down as we move into the second week of August. Remember to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated!
