Good evening everyone! It has been a quiet day across the South Plains with high pressure sitting over Central Texas. While we will see a slight chance for thunderstorms yet again across the northwestern South Plains this afternoon and evening, chances will be diminishes as the high slowly moves farther West. This will continue to be the case of Friday with rain chances disappearing by Saturday. It is expected to be a hot and sunny week and weekend with temperatures remaining in the upper 90’s and the triple digits through Monday so make sure to stay hydrated.  Next week is when we start to see some changes with a cool down into the low 90’s and some higher rain chances by mid-week.
