Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been a wonderful day across the South Plains with temperatures sitting in the mid to upper 80’s and the low 90’s. This is all due to the generous amount of rain we received early this morning! Some folks continue to see storms and with more daytime heating we expect to see them continue through the evening hours. We expect some drying for your Wednesday and Thursday with only isolated storms in the forecast, but as we move into the weekend, Tropical Depression Javier will pump moisture into the West Texas region bringing heavy rain and some much cooler temperatures. Highs are expected to drop into the low 80’s Saturday through Monday before heating up close to average by the middle of next week.
