Happy Friday everyone! The warming trend continued today with temperatures moving back into the low 70’s and abundant sunshine throughout the day. This will remain the case on Saturday as well before our next system pushes across the region. Late Saturday night into Sunday there will be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. These storms are expected to be strong to severe with small to moderate size hail possible as well as heavy rain and therefore localized flooding and low visibilities. Make sure to travel with caution – turn around, don’t drown. This storm system will clear out quickly though and we will see a clearing by early Monday morning. Temperatures will drop briefly into the 60’s on Sunday but will return to the 70’s by this upcoming Monday with more sunshine throughout next week.
