Happy Wednesday everyone! It has been a hot and sunny day across the South Plains with highs reaching into the mid 80’s. However, things are expected to change as a shortwave trough pushes a cold front into the region tomorrow evening. Warm temperatures will stick around tomorrow but we will see windy and dusty conditions ahead of the front. Make sure to secure any outdoor items that can get blown around and be prepared for reduced visibilities. Temperatures will then drop closer to average on Friday and Saturday before the next warming trend that begins on Sunday. There is no precipitation in the forecast at this time and sunshine is expected to stick around through the middle on next week!
