Happy Thursday everyone! It has been another hot, sunny, and very windy day across the South Plains with highs reaching into the low 80’s. However, tonight a cold front is expected to push across the region bringing much cooler temperatures and more windy conditions for Friday and the weekend. Temperatures will drop closer to average on Friday and below average on Saturday before the next warming trend that begins on Sunday. There is no precipitation in the forecast at this time and sunshine is expected to stick around through the middle on next week! Unfortunately, with strong winds expected all next week, we are also expected blowing dust to stick around as well.
