Happy Sunday Everyone!! We have seen a significant amount of rainfall within the past 48 hours! The current rainfall total for Lubbock is 1.36 inches! We will continue to see showers into the evening and overnight tonight. Smaller roadways have seen some flooding, therefore it is important to continue driving with caution. The remaining showers are expected to move out of the region by morning. Clouds will remain in the area tomorrow morning but will begin to clear out in the afternoon, leaving us with mostly sunny skies. Sunnier skies will continue into the week along with a slight warm up in temperatures. Monday and Tuesday’s high temperatures will warm back up into the 50’s! Wednesday, Thursday and Friday those high’s will rise into the 60’s! The low temperatures for the week will remain cold, in the 30’s! A slight chance of rain and wintry mix will move back into the forecast on Saturday and Sunday.
