Happy Wednesday everyone! It is a beautiful, sunny, and warm day across the South Plains with temperatures sitting in the mid-50’s. Tomorrow temperatures will be in the mid-60’s and we will stay warm through the weekend! However, another system will move through the region on Saturday bringing us a minor cool down and a slight chance for some rain. This system will clear out quickly though with more sunshine expected by Sunday and through the middle of next week. With this system we are also anticipating very windy conditions starting Friday and continuing through Sunday. Blowing dust will be possible so be prepared for delays.
