Happy Thursday everyone! It has been another sunny and cool day across the South Plains with the cooling trend expected to continue through tomorrow. This is all due to another weak cold front that will push across the area this evening and clear out by Friday morning. This will not only bring more cold air to the region but also some added cloud cover throughout your Friday. Expects lows in the low 20’s Friday morning with highs only reaching into the mid-40’s. Thankfully, high temperatures will rebound quickly moving back into the mid-50’s by Saturday and the 60’s for the start of next week. However, lows are expected to stay at or below the freezing mark through Thursday so don’t forget to bring your pets and potted plants indoors during the late evening and early morning hours. Sunshine will be abundant starting on Saturday through the middle of next week with no rain expected in the forecast at this time.
