Happy Monday everyone! It has been another warm and sunny day across the South Plains. Conditions will remain breezy throughout this evening as the first of two cold fronts moves through the region tonight. This will drop our temperatures into the 50’s on Tuesday with the cool down continuing with a second front expected to push across the area Wednesday night into Thursday. This will bring a much more drastic drop in temperatures with highs barely reaching above the freezing mark on Thursday. Thankfully we will see a slow warming trend over the weekend and especially as we move into the second week of January. At this time both of these fronts look to be dry but stay tuned for updates! Also don’t forget to bring your pets and potted plants indoors with freezing morning temperatures expected to stick around for the majority of the week.
