Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a noticeably colder day across the South Plains with temperatures struggling to reach the freezing mark. This will remain the case tomorrow as well with lows sitting in the low teens and highs only reaching into the low 20’s. We also have a chance for snow late tonight into early tomorrow morning. Most locations will see a light dusting under half an inch but the northern row of counties will see the potential for 1-2 inches of snow with a few isolated locations reaching up to 3 inches. Make sure to bring your pets and potted plants indoors, cover your plants that can’t be brought inside, and don’t forget about your pipes tonight! Also be prepared for icy and snowy roadways tomorrow morning. Thankfully temperatures rebound quickly with the 40’s returning on Saturday and Sunday and the 70’s returning by Monday! Sunshine will also return by Saturday and it will stick around through next week!
