Happy Friday everyone! It has been a snowy and cold day across the South Plains. While there is no more precipitation expected for the next week, the big story is the snow that is presently on the ground. Roadways are very slushy at this time but as we head into the evening hours and we see less traffic on the roads, that slush will turn to ice. Therefore, Saturday morning is going to be very dangerous for drivers with black ice expected. Please drive with caution and slow down. Lows tomorrow morning will be in the single digits but thankfully we have a slow warming trend over the next few days! Highs will move into the 30’s on Saturday, the mid-50’s on Sunday, and the 70’s by Monday!
