Happy Tuesday everyone! We have another sunny and hot day with temperatures reaching into the triple digits. This is due to high pressure building over the region and it will stick around for much of the work week. While we will see triple digits for the remainder of the work week, we will cool off slightly over the weekend with temperatures dipping into the mid to upper 90’s. Just make sure to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and take breaks indoors during peak heating hours to avoid any heat related illnesses.
Due to a lack of moisture we are not expecting much precipitation over the next few days but a few isolated stormwill pop up just like we are seeing in the Northern South Plains this evening.
