Happy Wednesday everyone! Showers and thunderstorms started early today and will continue throughout the early evening hours. Just like we have seen over the past few days, these isolated storms will bring localized heavy rainfall and some strong wind gusts at times so drive with caution. Temperatures will remain in the mid-90s today but will slowly heat up throughout the remainder of the work week with select locations reaching back into the triple digits.
As we move into the second half of the work week, storm chances will diminish. This is brought on by the upper level ridge repositioning itself just to the northeast of West Texas over the weekend. Make sure to grab the sunscreen and stay hydrated!
