As we move into the remainder of your Friday expect the possibility of some stronger showers and thunderstorms to push across the area due to a cold front that will slide across the South Plains. This will bring the potential for heavy downpours, damaging wind gusts of 70+MPH, and small to moderate sized hail. Please stay weather aware throughout this evening.
Tomorrow we will see another chance for thunderstorms during the evening hours so keep your umbrellas handy. Otherwise, expect temperatures to remain in the upper 90’s through Monday before moving back into the triple digits by mid-week. After tomorrow, expect lots of sunshine and a break from the rain!
