Happy Wednesday everyone! It was another hot and sunny day across the South Plains with temperatures reaching into the mid-90’s. There will be a few chances for some more showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening but coverage will be limited. Tomorrow temperatures will remain about the same with low in the upper 60’s and highs in the mid-90’s. The warming trend will continue over the weekend with highs reaching into the upper 90’s. We will also see a few more chances for pop-up thunderstorms over the holiday weekend as well. Make sure to stay weather aware and don’t forget the sunscreen and to stay hydrated!
