TODAY: Temperatures will be mild today in the low 90’s for Lubbock and surrounding counties. Warmer in the mid 90’s east of the city. 30% chance of isolated to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. Heavy downpours are possible so remember to Turn Around Don’t Drown when encountering flooded roadways.

TOMORROW: Temperatures will warm by a few degrees across the region. Generally, mid 90’s are expected. The rain chance decreases to 10% but still possible in the afternoon.

THIS WEEK: The heat builds through mid work week into the upper 90’s. Clear skies dominate the forecast through Wednesday and Thursday.
