Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for the rest of the week:
TODAY: Dry up and clearing! We get a break in the precipitation today with mostly clear skies in the forecast. Temperatures will warm to the mid-80’s across the south plains.
TOMORROW: Still clear for the majority of the day, with an afternoon front likely to develop thunderstorms. Temperatures will continue to increase into the upper 80’s and low 90’s for the region. Expect storms to persist overnight into Friday.
