Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has a look at this weekend’s forecast:
TODAY: 20% chance of late evening thunderstorms developing in New Mexico and the Texas panhandle before pushing southeast into the south plains region. Some hail and strong winds are possible. Mostly sunny during the day with highs in the upper 80’s.
TOMORROW: Back to the 90’s! Mostly sunny with temperatures back to average in the low 90’s. A 10% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
SUNDAY: Warm again with temperatures in the 90’s. Mostly sunny for the majority of the day. A stronger front moves in late Sunday night with precipitation chances at 20% in the afternoon. The KAMC Storm Team is monitoring for rain and thunderstorm impacts from this system early next week.
