KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 1.28.19.

TODAY: A cold front wakes us up on this Monday! It will be a blustery day, with gusty winds from the north. Sustained winds will be from 20-30 mph through mid-day, gusting up to 40 mph. Afternoon temperatures will range from the low 40s north to the low 50s south. The forecast high for Lubbock is 48°, but the wind chill could make temperatures feel nearly 10 degrees cooler. Tonight temperatures will plummet to the teens and 20s.

TOMORROW: A cold start Tuesday will be met with another chilly afternoon. The sky will be sunny and winds will be light. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s to low 50s, up to 48° in Lubbock again.

THIS WEEK: The cold air lingers through Wednesday with highs in the low 50s. Then we see a break in the cold air Thursday. 60s are in the forecast from Thursday through Sunday!
