KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 11.20.18.

TODAY: A mild day is in store, with temperatures still slightly below average. Expect highs in the mid 50s, up to 55 in Lubbock. The wind will be light today, from the south 5-10 mph. The sun will shine bright, with a few clouds moving in this evening from the east. Overnight will be warmer, in the low 30s.

TOMORROW: Morning light rain is possible in the southwest corner of our area, but Lubbock will likely stay dry. Expect a partly cloudy sky Wednesday afternoon with highs again in the mid 50s.

THANKSGIVING: 60s return to the forecast for Thanksgiving. The forecast for Lubbock is 60 degrees. The sky will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Expect great weather for travel or a post meal walk!

LOOKING AHEAD: The end of the week is trending above average, in the mid 60s Friday to near 70 on Saturday. Winds will gradually pick up with this temperature increase. Then Sunday, a windy cold front moves through the South Plains and takes us back to the 50s.
