KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 12.3.18.
TODAY: A chilly Monday is in store to start this week. Temperatures will range from the low 40s north for Plainview, to 46 in Lubbock, and low 50s south for Seminole. The sky will be partly cloudy with light winds.
TOMORROW: Tuesday will be slightly warmer, up to 50 degrees in Lubbock. The sky again will be partly cloudy. Winds will be light from the southwest.
THIS WEEK: Most of the week we see temperatures below average and calm conditions. But, the Storm Team is watching an upcoming weather pattern Friday into Saturday. There is a 40% chance of rain transitioning into freezing rain overnight and eventually to light snow by Saturday morning (30% chance). This forecast WILL change, keep it with KAMC as we hammer out the details.
