KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 12.13.17.
TODAY: Temperatures will be well above average at 66 degrees today. We will reach the high early today and then we expect to cool down in the evening as a cold front moves through the South Plains. Winds will be breezy in the late afternoon from this front. Overnight temperatures will drop below freezing.
TOMORROW: The cold front from the day before will leave high temperatures nearly 15 degrees cooler, with a forecast high of 52. More clouds will be in the sky which will also help limit temperatures. Some snow flurries may fall in the panhandle and the South Plains but most will evaporate before reaching the surface.
