KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 2.5.18.
TODAY: Nice weather is in the forecast today, with most of the South Plains at least reaching 60 degrees. The forecast for Lubbock is 68 with a partly cloudy sky. Winds will be light to breezy from the southwest 10-20 mph.
TOMORROW: A front moves into the region and stalls out near Lubbock. This will lead to quite a differing temperature profile in our area. Hobbs, NM may very well see low 60s, while Paducah, TX may stay in the low 40s. The forecast for Lubbock is 49 degrees. More clouds move into the Rolling Plains and the Caprock in the morning and stick around through the day. Some drizzle may fall off the caprock towards Abilene.
