KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 2.6.18.

TODAY: The weather changes today with most clouds and much cooler temperatures. A cold front is bringing in colder air, with the forecast high in Lubbock 45 degrees. It should be cool east of Lubbock, and warmer west. Low level clouds have moved in as well and they will stay put through most of the day. Freezing drizzle is possible, especially into the Rolling Plains. Don’t be surprised if you see a few water droplets on your windshield this afternoon, but impacts and accumulations will be minimal.

TOMORROW: The sunshine returns and the cold air stays in place Wednesday. The forecast high for Lubbock is 53 degrees. Winds will be light out of the east, which reinforces that cold air.
