KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 3.18.19.
TODAY: Today will be sunny with light southerly winds. Lunch time temperatures will rise to the mid 50s. Highs later today will make it to the low 60s, up to 62° in Lubbock. Tonight will be mild, to the middle 30s.
TOMORROW: Another mild and sunny day is in store for Tuesday. Temperatures will be slightly warmer, to the mid 60s. The forecast for Lubbock is 65° with southwest winds 10-15 mph.
THIS WEEK: Spring begins on Wednesday! Clouds will increase starting Wednesday and extending through Friday. Temperatures will drop to the upper 50s Wednesay then climb to the 60s by Friday. Rain chances also gradually increase by mid-week, peaking on Friday with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
