KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 3.25.19.
TODAY: Monday will be seasonable with lots of sunshine. Temperatures will climb to the upper 60s and low 70s. The forecast for Lubbock is 68° with winds shifting from the northeast this morning to the southeast later today. Tonight will be mostly clear and mild, to the 40s.
TOMORROW: On Tuesday morning, patchy fog is possible. Through the day, more 70s are in the forecast for the area. Lubbock will likely make it to 70° under a mostly sunny sky. Winds will be 10-15 mph from the southeast.
THIS WEEK: A warming trend continues this week thanks to a ridge of high pressure at the jet stream level. This allows temperatures to rise to the 80s by Thursday. We will experience more cloud cover by mid-week, but the chances for precipitation are very low. This weekend will be cooler, thanks to a dry cold front Saturday.
