KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 4.15.19.
TODAY: Monday highs will make it to the 80s, up to 86° in Lubbock. Winds will be breezy today from the southwest, 10-25 mph. A red flag warning is in place for Curry, Roosevelt, Parmer, Castro, Swisher, Bailey, and Lamb counties. Humidity will drop near 10% later today.
TOMORROW: Tuesday will feel similar to today, up to 84° in Lubbock. Winds will be just as breezy, 10-25 mph from the southwest. The sky will be partly cloudy.
THIS WEEK: Wednesday will be quite windy, gusting up to 40 mph. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible Wednesday evening. A cold front impacts the South Plains by Thursday, leaving highs in the upper 60s with a strong northerly wind. Warm and sunny conditions return for Easter weekend.
