TODAY: Mostly cloudy today keeping our high temperatures cooler in the low 70s. Storms will develop later this afternoon in eastern New Mexico and track into the South Plains throughout the evening. Some storms have the potential to become severe producing large hail and gusty winds. A few isolated tornadoes can not be ruled out either.

TONIGHT: Storm/shower chances will stick in the forecast overnight as a cold front moves through our area. Winds will become breezy behind the front and temperatures will fall into the upper 40s/low 50s.

TOMORROW: Lingering post-frontal showers during the first half of the day, but by the late afternoon drier air will move in and we’ll see gradual clearing.

Have a great day!
