TODAY: A warm and sunny day is in store. Temperatures will be climbing to the 80s and 90s. The warmer air will be found south and east, with cooler temperatures northwest. Lubbock will be in between at 86°. Winds will be light in general, from the west-southwest. The sky should be cloud-free today, so make sure you lather up on sunscreen!
TOMORROW: Overnight a cold front will move through the area, bringing thunderstorm chances along it Wednesday morning. The southeast corner of the region has the best chance at seeing activity in the morning. Lubbock may see an afternoon thunderstorm. Temperatures will be cooler, to the 70s.
LOOKING AHEAD: 80s return by the end of the week and into the weekend. Also, rain is remaining in the forecast through the weekend. Friday and Saturday have the highest chance of evening thunderstorms at this point.
