KAMC’s Storm Team Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for 9.25.18.
TODAY: Tuesday will start sunny and warm, with a high temperature of 87 degrees in Lubbock. But, the winds will pick up and turn to a northerly direction with a cold front expected in the early evening. Winds will be breezy 15-25 mph, with gusts near 30 mph possible. Accumulations will likely be between 0.25″-0.50″ with some areas near 1″. The day will be overcast and cool, with highs in the 50s and low 60s.
LOOKING AHEAD: The sky clears up quickly, and by Thursday expect sunshine and warmer temperatures in the upper 70s. The 80s return Friday with plenty of sun to wrap up the week.
