TODAY: We’ll have a nice afternoon ahead with highs reaching the upper 80s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be light from the southwest at 8-12 mph. Later this evening, a few pop up showers and thunderstorms for our eastern counties are possible around 8 pm this evening. Most of the eastern South Plains is under a risk for severe weather.

TONIGHT: Temperatures will drop into the low 50s under partly cloudy skies. A cold front is still expected to move in later tonight into early morning, bringing cooler temperatures and a 10% chance of rain.

TOMORROW: After the front moves through, some showers will linger and highs will only reach the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. We do expect our thunderstorm chances to start increasing as we head closer to the weekend.

Have a great day!
