There’s more sunshine across the entire viewing area today. We’re seeing some clouds trying to get going just west of Lubbock. That is indicating some moisture in the air. There is also more moist air east of Lubbock. Some of that will try to come west, so I’m not ruling out some isolated storms tonight. Nothing like what we saw last night, though, Any storms will be gone by midnight.

Tomorrow, drier air is back across the South & Rolling Plains. So, we will see sunny skies, wind at 10-15 mph & hot air in the afternoon. Lubbock will see a high of 102° tomorrow. Highs will be near 105° in the Rolling Plains & mid 90s west & northwest. Since that high is back in control, we will not see any thunderstorms tomorrow & that will carry over into the weekend.
