It’s a hot one out there! Lubbock got to 104° this afternoon. The record for today is 107°. We’re now at 103°, so thankfully, we will not reach that mark of 107°. The skies will stay clear overnight, so as we start the day Saturday, temperatures will drop to the low & mid 70s. We’re ending spring by feeling like summer! Summer officially begins Monday afternoon at 5:34. I suppose we’re getting a preview of what’s to come this week!
Tomorrow is going to be another scorcher out there. The sun will shine, the clouds will basically be non-existent. So, remember to stay safe in the heat if you’re doing anything outdoors tomorrow. Wear light clothing & stay hydrated. Lubbock will see a high temperature of 100° tomorrow, but with the moisture in place, it will feel like 105-107°! If you can, just stay indoors tomorrow afternoon!
