There is plenty of sunshine, with thin, cirrus clouds over the state today. Like yesterday, there are scattered storms over in New Mexico. Those storms will not make their way into Texas, thanks to dry air over us. Expect clear skies tonight, with a low of 69° by tomorrow morning.
Saturday is shaping up to be the best day of the weekend. We’ll still see abundant sunshine area wide, with very warm conditions in place. Lubbock will see a high of 93°. There will be showers & thunderstorms over in New Mexico, yet again. Those storms will try to inch closer to our western counties. If they make it, they’ll impact Parmer, Castro & Bailey Counties. Aside from that, pretty much everyone will stay dry.
