The winter weather advisory that was issued yesterday afternoon has been cancelled. The air is going to be too warm to promote snow today. The computer forecasts yesterday morning were not showing snow, so it turns out they were correct. We are seeing light showers in the area this morning. That will continue through the early afternoon.
Today will remain cloudy & very chilly. We have already reached the high for the day at 12:31 am, when we hit 52°. This afternoon will see Lubbock reaching 46°. With wind at 10-15 mph, this will feel more like the upper 30s at times. So, be sure to dress warm today & take that umbrella with you. You will need it during the morning.
