Expect low clouds to stick around this morning, with fog developing in the rural areas, mainly. If you run into any fog on your way out the door today, just slow down and drive carefully. This afternoon is going to see a mix of clouds and sunshine. There will be isolated storms, mainly north of Lubbock, this evening. Some of those will produce large hail. Lubbock is going to get to a high of 75°, which is right where we should be.

Any storms will end by 10:00 tonight. We’ll look at cloudy skies overnight, which will help to keep temperatures up into the upper 50s by morning. The clouds will still mix with the sunshine tomorrow afternoon. But that will not inhibit warmer air from coming back into the region. Wind will be from the west-southwest, with Lubbock seeing a high temperature of 83°. Things are looking dry, if you have any outdoor plans on Saturday.
