It was great to see rain around Lubbock last night. Although, we officially came in with only .01″. Southern portions of Lubbock saw closer to .40″. But, officially, April 17 will go down in the history books with only a hundredth of an inch. Today is shaping up to have a mix of clouds & sunshine this afternoon. Highs will stay below normal, as Lubbock will only reach 67°.
Tomorrow is going to stay with partly sunny skies, but we will see the wind shift around to the southwest. So, we’ll see warmer air returning to the area. Expect highs to be in the mid 70s, with the Rolling Plains getting closer to 80°. Wind will be lighter tomorrow, generally staying at 5-10 mph.
