There are clouds lingering throughout the area, behind the thunderstorms that moved in late last night & early this morning. Many locations saw some beneficial rain, but we also had some severe storms. That activity is pushing south as we speak. The clouds will clear off by mid-morning, allowing for a mostly sunny afternoon & a high of 76° here in Lubbock. Wind at 10-15 mph.
Tomorrow is going to be a wonderful day to get outside & enjoy it! There will be wall-to-wall sunshine & light wind for once! With that wind coming in from the south, we will see a warmer afternoon. Lubbock is going to see a high temperature of 80°. The Rolling Plains will see highs in the low 80s & wouldn’t rule out highs in the upper 80s for some locations in the low Rolling Plains.
