It is a very warm start to the day. Lubbock is only coming in with a temperature of 65°! The dry line is starting to move back to the east, so we will begin to see that drier air filtering in from west to east. As the dry line leaves the region, the wind is going to increase. It will be sustained this afternoon at 25-35 mph, with gusts to 50 mph. There will be some blowing dust, as well.
Tomorrow, the wind will drop to 10-15 mph & the sunshine will stay. That sun is going to help keep highs into the low 80s for Wednesday. There will be mid 80s in the Rolling Plains. Things will stay dry, as the dry line will stay well east of our area. So, it’s shaping up to be a great midweek!
